Liv Sync Battle is back at Camp & Furnace and will be raising money for the homeless

Liv Sync Battle returns to Camp & Furnace on Friday 9th March 2018 from 7pm as a brand new group of hopefuls takes to the stage as their favourite stars. Following the success of last year’s sell-out event, which saw John Gibbons of The Anfield Wrap, crowned as champion for his incredible impression of Taylor Swift, Liv Sync Battle is gearing up for another fundraiser with a difference.

Hosted by Jay Hynd from The Guide Liverpool, Liv Sync Battle is lining up a whole new draft of contestants, from Scouse tour guides to presenters, local legends and even a few famous faces who can actually sing, all of whom are stepping into the spot light to give it their all in aid of Wirral Ark, a homeless charity based in Birkenhead.

Wirral Ark provides supported accommodation and support services to address other issues including mental health. With almost a 70% rise in homelessness on the Wirral in the past 5 years and predictions of this doubling by 2020, the work of Wirral Ark has become more important than ever.

Last year it was John Gibbons from The Anfield Wrap who took home the lv Sync trophy after his take on Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’. This time contestants include Graeme Smith from Capital Liverpool, Kelly Parker from Liverpool Soul Fest and John Bird from Liverpool Pride.

You can expect to hear the greatest hits from the likes of Tina Turner, Cher, Ru Paul, Kylie and there’s a strong chance of even more girl power from The Spice Girls too.

Tickets are priced at £10 and available at www.livsyncbattle.com and the show starts at 7pm where you can vote for your Liv Sync winner 2018.
