Las Iguanas Launch New Spring/Summer Menu
This Spring sees the launch of the new menu at Latin American restaurant, Las Iguanas. There’s 17 exciting new dishes cooked from scratch by the team of skilled chefs, alongside Latin classics and Las Iguanas favourites. The new menu pairs perfectly with tropical coolers and premium cocktails Las Iguanas is so well known and loved for.
Launching on 2nd April 2019, the new food menu will offer small dishes straight from Rio’s beach bars through to mains inspired by Brazil, Argentina, Peru and beyond.
New tapas dishes include Chicharrónes, mouth-watering crispy pork crackling dusted with a chilli seasoning and served with guacamole and an extended Taco selection including Shredded Duck with caramelised onion and spicy cranberry salsa, and Crispy Cauliflower with Amarillo aioli, packed full of flavour. Tacos all come with a choice of wheat or blue corn tortillas.
Burrito Bowls make it on to the main menu and stay true to the cuisine of Mexico; full of colour and taste they pair perfectly with a margarita. Go vegan with jack fruit and vegan cheese, or super meaty with shredded chipotle beef or chicken. The introduction of Truffle Mac and Cheese is a sure winner too – Peruvian-style with smoked cheese and white truffle oil, drizzled with Amarillo chilli and avocado aioli, topped with crispy onions and chilli.
Alongside the new menu, Las Iguanas’ impressive selection of cocktails and mocktails are available 2 for 1 all day, every day!* Sip on one of the award-winning Caipirinhas**, the famous Brazilian classic, or new concoctions like the Rock Star Martini (Jack Daniels, Vanilla Vodka, Charcoal, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, and a shot of beer)or Pink Pineapple Punch (Havana Club 3 Year Rum, Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum, Falernum, Pineapple, Lime). Cocktails are always a good idea at Las Iguanas, where every day is a celebration!
Soon to follow in May is the launch of the Las Iguanas Afternoon Tea for Two. Look forward to a quirky afternoon treat and enjoy two Smoking Cuban sandwiches and a teapot of delicious Havana Club Rum tea for just £25. Award-winning Cigar Cuban sandwiches*** with pulled seasoned pork, Wiltshire ham, Emmental cheese, smoked cheese, mustard and dill pickle relish are served smoking in a cigar box (also available for veggies too with garlicky mushroom).
