Liverpool’s only traditional Turkish baths has unveiled a fresh new look following a major refurbishment, offering visitors a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Located on Smithdown Road, just 10 minutes from Liverpool city centre, Liverpool Turkish Bath has undergone a transformation, creating a welcoming wellness retreat that combines traditional Turkish bathing rituals with modern spa facilities.

A New Chapter for a Much-Loved Liverpool Business
The refurbishment marks an important new chapter for the independent business, which has been part of the local community for more than a decade.
Originally opened in 2015 under the name Adam & Eve, the venue was founded by Carol, the late niece of General Manager Lillian Scott.
Following Carol’s passing in summer 2023, Lillian joined forces with the building’s landlord, Frank Campbell, to rebrand and refurbish the venue, ensuring Carol’s legacy continues while introducing the Turkish bath experience to new visitors.
Lillian, who has worked at the venue for 11 years, said: “We are passionate about delivering the ultimate Turkish Bath experience. Our newly refurbished venue creates an even more welcoming atmosphere where guests can unwind completely. Our dedicated, friendly, and professionally trained team is here to ensure every visitor feels comfortable, cared for, and leaves feeling fully refreshed.”
She added: “In a fast-paced digital world, it is more important than ever to take time out to unwind and cleanse both body and mind. We welcome clients of all ages to enjoy our little oasis in the middle of the city.”
