Goodness Gracious Roof Garden Is Open For Afternoon Tea In The Sky

OH ME OH MY’s Goodness Gracious roof garden, has Liverpool’s finest views, with a commanding perspective of the city’s splendour high above the streets and the Three Graces and glittering waterfront below.

Now the clocks have gone forward, spring is soon coming and the recent balmy weather makes the hideaway even more alluring. It’s safe to say the whole city awaits the opening of the Goodness Gracious roof garden, a bell weather for al fresco dining and socialising.

And from this Friday (1 April), the team at OH ME OH MY are incredibly proud to announce their roof garden is opening for Afternoon Tea In The Sky, with the service then running Wednesday to Friday each week, weather permitting, and occasional weekends.

It’s an intimate escape nestled far away from the hustle and bustle many storeys down, a truly beautiful location which during the longer days comes into its own for early morning yoga, lunchtime cuppas and afternoon sun-kissed drinks.

The champagne afternoon tea service features savoury finger sandwiches including egg mayonnaise, coronation chicken, cheese and wholegrain mustard and roasted salmon and cream cheese dill with croque monsieur. These are matched to sweet-toothed delicacies including a triple layer French fancy, chocolate and chamomile macaron, caramelised white chocolate and lemon posset, blueberry curd tartlet and the perennial favourite, a homemade scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. And of course a glass of bubbly.
