Found Footage Fest Returns To Liverpool At FACT
The Found Footage Festival, showcasing weird and usually hilarious found-footage VHS videos from all corners of the U.S, will be bringing its new show to Liverpool’s FACT on 23rd March.
Hosts Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett whose credits include The Late Show with David Letterman will debut their new show for one night in Liverpool, taking the audience on a guided tour latest and greatest VHS finds, providing live commentary and where-they-are-now updates on the people featured in the clips
This year’s show features clips from David Letterman’s VHS Collection (inherited by the FFF when Dave retired), a montage of satanic panic videos from the 80s, and 10 years of bloopers culled from one hapless North Dakota news team.
From the curiously-produced industrial training video to the forsaken home movie donated to charity, the Found Footage Festival resurrects these forgotten treasures and serves them up in a lively celebration of all things found.
The Found Footage Festival debuted its first show in New York in 2004 and has gone on to sell out hundreds of shows across the U.S and Canada. The Festival has featured on The Tonight Show Featuring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live and has been the critics pick in publications including The Guardian, Time Out London and The New York Times.
The festival returns to Liverpool after its previous successful outing in 2015.
