Everton Launch Travel Hub For Second Test Event At New Stadium

Everton has launched an online Travel Hub, which brings together all the relevant and official travel information ahead of the second test event, this weekend.

Everton Stadium, located to the north of the city centre, is conveniently served by all forms of public transport, which has been ramped up for the 25,000-plus fans attending the Blues’ U21s fixture on Sunday, 23 March (2pm kick-off).

Transport providers have confirmed additional and longer trains to nearby Sandhills station and an increased number of shuttle bus services will run from Bootle Strand and Liverpool City Centre (Commutation Row and Liverpool ONE) to and from Everton Stadium, before and after the game.

A new trial of ferry services between Seacombe and Pier Head could also become a regular matchday feature, dependent on passenger numbers.

Fans are also reminded that Everton Stadium is also easily accessible on foot and bicycle from Liverpool City Centre – and are being asked to consider their journeys and plan for the best mode of travel for their needs.

All of the available options open to supporters, including parking, road closure information and key travel advice, can be found at the new Everton Stadium Travel Hub.
