Everton ‘Considering’ Women’s Team Relocation To Goodison Park

Everton are reportedly considering relocating their women’s team to Goodison Park following the departure of the men’s side at the end of this season. The club’s men’s team, managed by David Moyes, will move to their new state-of-the-art stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, leaving their historic home behind.

According to The Athletic, the club’s new owners, The Friedkin Group, are exploring the possibility of Everton Women playing their future home games at Goodison Park. The women’s team, currently managed by Brian Sørensen, is based at Walton Hall Park, just a short distance away.

The potential move aligns with The Friedkin Group’s commitment to investing significantly in Everton Women as part of their broader development plans. The Athletic reported on 28 February that the new ownership is keen to enhance the women’s team’s facilities and profile, which could see them take up residence at the iconic stadium.

This move could provide Everton Women with a larger platform and a historic venue in which to showcase their talents. However, discussions are still in the early stages, and further details are expected as the club evaluates its options for the future of its women’s side.
