INNSiDE Liverpool Named Official Eurovision Hotel Partner & Announces Themed Experiences And Events
As the city of Liverpool is set to become the first UK city in 25 years to host the world’s most iconic song contest, Eurovision; INNSiDE by Meliá Liverpool, part of the global hotel group, Melia Hotels International, is giving Eurovision fans a number of ways to get excited, with a programme of unmissable events, entertainment and bookable packages.
With Eurovision official events taking place within the city the week commencing Monday 8 May, and the grand final being hosted live at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool’s centre on Saturday 13 May, fans will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Eurovision themed festivities throughout the week and week prior at INNSiDE Liverpool, from check in to check out.
Rooms are set to be available to book for the biggest week in Liverpool’s 2023 calendar on Tuesday 7 March, once the Eurovision live event tickets go on sale, and guests will feel the celebration the moment they walk through the door. The reception area will host a live DJ from 3 – 7pm, between Tuesday 9 to Saturday 13 May, playing the best of Eurovision power anthems. You’ll hear all the classics from past winners and runners up such as Abba, Conchita Wurst, Loreen, Sam Ryder, Manëskin and the 2022 winner, Kalush, to name a few.
On Friday, the DJ will then move to up to the Gino D’Acampo 360 Sky Bar on the hotel’s 18th floor post 7pm, so you can see out the evening dancing away, all whilst taking in the beautiful, panoramic city skyline and River Mersey views.
The reception will see the ‘Stay Curious’ wall transformed and adorned with beautiful blue and yellow flowers; a proud nod to Ukraine, last year’s Eurovision winning nation. Custom Eurovision themed t-shirts will be on sale at the kiosk.
Customers of the hotel will also have an unmissable opportunity to top off the week, with a chance to win a stay at INNSiDE Ibiza. Simply capture your INNSiDE Liverpool Eurovision picture moment and post it to Instagram tagging @innside_by_melia_uk and using #INNSiDEEurovision to be in with a chance of winning. The randomly chosen competition winner will win a two-night stay at INNSiDE Ibiza for two people, including a luxurious Bali bed experience (to redeem within 12 months).
On the live semi-final and final dates (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), you and your friends will be able to host your own private Eurovision bash for up to 20 people in the ‘Big Idea’ event space within INNSiDE, as it is transformed into a creative party pad, complete with TV screen and karaoke machine.
At just £49.95pp, you will be able to sing along to your favourite Eurovision entries from past years, cast your votes on the winning nation and stream this year’s live events so you don’t miss a moment of the action. Packages are based on total guest numbers, but will include beers, prosecco, pizza and canapés, such as Crispy Cod Bruschetta, Creamy Taleggio Cheese Arancini and Parma Ham & Buffalo Ricotta.
As well as INNSiDE’s own bookable event spaces, those in the city will have further opportunities to catch Eurovision fever, with a range of special events hosted at the Gino D’Acampo Restaurant and the Sky Bar within the hotel.

From Monday 1 May to Saturday 13 May, all guests dining or drinking within the Sky Bar or restaurant will be able to choose from a specially curated Eurovision cocktail menu, on top of the classic offering, and for groups of 20+ people dining at the restaurant the week of Eurovision (Sunday 7 to Saturday 13 May), you’ll receive a complimentary arrival drink with dining packages.
To celebrate the live grand final on Saturday 13 May, there will be a Eurovision screening party hosted in the 360 Sky Bar including drinks and canapés.
