Delifonseca Dockside To Go Greek Ahead of Special Food & Drink Evening

Award-winning restaurant Delifonseca Dockside is preparing to take its diners on a culinary journey through the rich flavours of Greece as part of its next specially-themed food and drink evening.

This Friday, 28 July, the Brunswick venue’s chefs will prepare a five-course feast, offering the very best Greek produce, accompanied by a wide selection of wines from the country, each carefully chosen to complement the delicious dishes they’ll be serving.

Delifonseca Dockside’s team of experts will be on hand, as always, to guide guests through the tasting, providing insights into the unique characteristics of each wine and its origin.

The menu will give people the chance to indulge in a variety of traditional Greek dishes, such as Mini Mezze Tomato Keftedes, Dolmades, Avgolemono Chicken & Herb Dumplings, Chilli & Lemon Lamb Kleftiko Slow-Roast Leg of Lamb and Melopita ‘Honey Pie’.

Restaurant Manager Tom Ford said: “Each dish will be thoughtfully prepared to showcase the authentic flavours of Greece and go hand in hand with each of the fantastic featured wines.

“Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or a true foodie, this evening promises to be a memorable experience, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the best of what Greece has to offer – without setting foot on a plane. Opa!”

Founded back in 2007 on a love of fine food and drink, Delifonseca’s ethos surrounds enjoying food, creating food and supporting farmers and producers who are equally passionate and particular. It is home to a licensed food hall, complete with an in-house butcher, Edge & Son, as well as a rapidly expanding corporate outside catering arm.

The event is priced at £65 per head, and spaces are limited, so booking is essential. To book, visit www.delifonseca.co.uk
