Crust Launches Liverpool’s First Italian-Inspired Breakfast Menu On Bold Street

Crust, Liverpool’s award-winning contemporary pizza restaurant based on Bold Street, has introduced Liverpool’s first Italian-inspired breakfast menu.

Renowned for its classic pizza, as well as their authentic Italian flavours, Crust Caffe’s new breakfast menu is available every day from 8am-12 midday on a walk-in only basis.

Crust Caffe has been created due to popular demand with many guests requesting breakfast dishes.

The new menu is packed with classics including a range of Eggs Benedicts, a Full English (and a vegetarian option called the Garden Plate) with homemade Italian sourdough bread, a selection of omelettes and Avocado Toast.

But in true Crust style, the team will also introduce Italian inspired brunch dishes to Liverpool including their Breakfast Wrap, a twist on their popular famous Pizza Wrap, which will be packed with brunch favourites such as scrambled egg, sausage, steak bacon and beans topped with smoked cheese, and their Potato and Pancetta Hash complete with crushed fried potatoes with crispy pancetta, caramelised onions, spinach and smoked Applewood cheddar.

Crust Caffe will also have a variety of sweet options including a homemade Granola Bowl served with panna cotta, homemade French Toast, Pancakes Stack and Açai Bowl, as well as a selection of freshly baked croissants including Nutella, mascarpone and banana.

Owners Paolo and Donato Cillo, who are also the team behind the Italian Quarter in Williamson Square that’s made up of Brunchin’, Hey Farina, Gran Caffe and Antonietta, as well as Botanico in Woolton Village, will bring authentic Italian flavours in the form of delicious breakfast and brunch dishes.

Paolo Cillo, owner of Crust, explained: “Crust was built on our traditional Italian pizza and pastas which our guests love. Serving traditional Italian flavours, authentic dishes as well as our unique creations has made Crust the award-winning success that it is.

“More recently, we have seen increasing interest in serving brunch and many guests have asked if we would bring our Italian flavours into breakfast dishes. Since the demand is there, we’ve decided to create Liverpool’s first Italian-inspired breakfast menu and we’re really looking forward to sharing these dishes on Bold Street.”
