Now into its third year and returning with a spring-green equinox edition – Food for Real is the UK’s only free film festival focussed on food. Brought to you by socially engaged, creative food enterprise Squash Nutrition, the festival seeks to explore the environmental, cultural and political impacts of the foods we grow, eat, waste and share.

Constellations are hosting two events as part of this years Food For Real Festival, the first an evening of film, food and jubilation with a screening of the delectable‪ The Moveable Feast‬ and delicious food provided by 2014 Street Food Award Winning Mei Mei’s Street Cart – you can book your free tickets here.

Aspiring fashion model Wan (Kimi Hsia), returns home from the big smoke of Taipei, deflated and in debt having tried to escape her familial destiny as a ‘ban-doh’ caterer. But like her legendary late chef father, Master Spirit Fly, Wan, who lives on instant noodles and take-aways, must embrace her inner food artist to save her bacon! With the help of love interest Doctor Gourmet (Yo Yang), Wan enters a prestigious and lucrative cooking competition and in so doing, embarks upon a wild and colourful adventure!
