Constellations Launch New Look Venue Space
Constellations are getting ready for the year ahead and with it they are bringing a new series of live music shows to Liverpool, promising an exciting programme of events to promote the Baltic Triangle as a live music destination in 2017 onwards.
The organisers want the venue to become a landing-place for emerging touring talent, as well as providing a destination for home-grown artists to perform. Regularly promoting local untapped and unsigned music, helping to keep Liverpool on the map as a city of culture.
“As an independent venue it is our duty to support the national pool of independent artists who in many cases struggle to find stages to showcase their talent” – Nicholas Baskerville, Marketing Manager.
Launching with a free event on December 1st, the venue will open it’s doors to a new-look space and introduce you to the talent of Sumochief and Poppy Ajudha, talented musicians from South London.
The updated event space makes it more suitable for gigs of all sizes, meaning smaller shows can take place throughout the week. During winter, the venue bar will be the place to get cosy with a brand new food & drinks menu and midweek live entertainment; come summer the garden will reopen permanently, hosting more live music and festival style events.
The new live music programming will fit snuggling alongside an already established programme of club events, in-house programming, conferences, weddings and garden parties.
The venue has been given a seasonal make over this winter. Constellations has got all grown up with a new food menu, a more functional event space, a cosier bar, a bespoke iron fire pit called “Apollo” and custom made video mapping to animate the space at night.
To check out the new-look and celebrate the launch of their new live music programme then get down to the venue on Thursday 1st December from 6pm.
