Liverpool’s Opulence Mobile Bar Celebrates 10 Years After Becoming the City’s Go-To Event Bar Hire
Liverpool is home to countless independent businesses with inspiring success stories, and this month Opulence Mobile Bar is raising a glass to a major milestone as it celebrates 10 years in business.
Founded in 2016 by Helen Lowry, 35, from Childwall, Opulence Mobile Bar has grown from a simple idea into one of Liverpool’s most sought-after mobile bar hire companies, serving everyone from local families to celebrities, footballers and high-profile businesses across the North West.
Helen spotted a gap in the market while helping a friend who worked as a wedding planner. What began as a specialist champagne bar for weddings has since evolved into a versatile mobile bar service capable of transforming any event with bespoke themes, expertly crafted drinks and exceptional customer service.
Today, Opulence is a familiar name across the region, regularly creating stunning bar experiences for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, christenings, hen parties, children’s celebrations and glamorous private functions.
The business has even caught the attention of Liverpool FC players, cast members from The Real Housewives of Cheshire and a host of other well-known names. Most recently, Opulence featured during filming for the latest series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, which is due to air this autumn, giving the Liverpool business national exposure.
Despite its growing profile, Helen has remained committed to offering high-quality products, outstanding service and competitive prices – a combination that has helped Opulence become a favourite among customers across Merseyside.
A fully trained mixologist, Helen also spent time in France learning the art and history of champagne, knowledge that inspired Opulence’s original concept. Over the past decade she has continued to innovate, expanding the menu to include signature cocktails, mocktails, themed drinks and, most recently, matcha creations.
Speaking about reaching the milestone, Helen said: “From an idea in my bedroom to now a recognised and trusted business in my city, I’m super grateful to be celebrating 10 years in business and can’t wait to grow and develop Opulence even further.”

The celebrations come as demand continues to grow, with Helen’s diary already filling up well into 2027 with wedding receptions, christenings, hen parties and a number of exciting corporate bookings.
