Here’s What’s Happening At British Style Collective Presented By The Clothes Show
British Style Collective presented by The Clothes Show lands in Liverpool 7-9 July, embracing some of Liverpool’s most iconic landmarks as part of a citywide event.
The event gives you access to 4 venues across the city including a seat at The Alcatel Fashion Arena in association with Glamour Magazine and Capital FM at Echo Arena Liverpool featuring Rock the Runway fashion-meets-music spectacle. Each Rock The Runway will feature a different celebrity presenter with Vogue Williams – Friday 7 July, Kimberley Walsh – Saturday 8 July and Mollie King – Sunday 9 July. You’ll get to experience an explosive performance of fashion, music and dance in this 45 minute production.
The arena will also showcase the hottest looks on the high-street this summer in a dedicated trends report brought to you by Liverpool ONE, where you can shop the looks straight from the catwalk. The super stylish shopping destination will also play home to exclusive pop-ups, in-store events and master classes across the three days.
St George’s Hall will be home to the fashion industry’s elite where you can watch designer catwalk shows, see beauty demonstrations, and shop from luxury brands. There will be designer trend presentations, editor talks, expert industry insight, celebrity Q&A’s, designer show rooms and exclusive pampering treatments.
The Exhibition Centre will contain shopping halls where you can shop over 300 high street and online brands plus River Island will be bringing their Style Studio experts along with a sneak peak of their new collection and exclusive offers.
All that shopping is thirsty work so Bubbles Bar will be on hand to keep you hydrated, courtesy of the show’s official drinks partner, Halewood Wines & Spirits. Liverpool Gin will host a pop-up bar at St George’s Hall in the picturesque surrounds of St John’s Gardens and there’ll be a stylish gin garden at the Hilton Hotel.
Taking over the city’s Baltic Triangle (Camp and Furnace, Constellations and Great Baltic Warehouse), four ‘Imagination Rooms’ will showcase graduate catwalk collections, design installations, creative talks and a behind- the-scenes look at the breadth of career opportunities in the industry, led by Professor Caryn Franklin MBE. Adding to the jam-packed education programme, Graduate Fashion Week will bring their acclaimed Gala Show to The Creative Hub of British Style Collective, offering aspiring designers a first-hand glimpse at the award-winning graduate collections of 2017.
Also keep an eye out for Fine Tuned – Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway’s vintage festival which will be taking over The Albert Dock. Presenting a ‘fine tuned’ collection of fiercely independent designer makers, street food vendors, vintage traders, performers, and classic car display this free fringe event forms part of the immersive British Style Collective citywide take-over.
