21-year-old soft pop singer-songwriter Amelia has released her new single Moments Like This, drawing on moments within her own life, creating a catchy and thoughtful track.
The Liverpool-based pop star weaves country music influences and bluesy vocals to produce some fantastic music, with the talented lyricist cites the likes of harry Styles, Taylor Swift and Kelsea Ballerini amongst her influences.
Amelia’s authentic ability to tell rich stories within her music is what makes her a special talent and one to keep an eye on in the future.
Amelia wrote Moments Like This during 2020, about the people who give her hope when you feel like everything is hopeless. It is a song about the people we love lighting us up in difficult times; “It’s moments like this when you pull me out of the dark/It’s moments like this when you keep me from falling apart”.
Amelia said: “Moments Like This is very special to me. It became a song about how those around us can make us feel hopeful and get us through the difficult moments we experience in life. I hope you can all relate to this in some way, visualising your own struggles and those who lit you up during that darkness.”
