One of the main things keeping me going during these uncertain times we are facing is listening to good music! FEELINGZ by Liverpool artist Ali Ingle is fast becoming one of my favourite Summer tunes of 2020 so far.
Ali Ingle is a Musician, Film Maker and Songwriter, even lending his song writing abilities to some great up and coming artists. His latest track FEELINGZ opens with a strong drum beat and bass line and then there is a beautiful melodic hook over the words ‘feeling’ which echoes over the top of the song. The instrumentation throughout is perfectly balanced with the vocals, never taking over the vocal line but still capturing your attention.
One thing to mention with Ingle’s lyrics is how they draw you in with their wit and charm. Then, pairing that with his ability to create great melodic hooks, you have a track that you can’t help but want to sing along. There is something comforting about the way in which Ingles vocals sit on top of the track. There is a richness to Ingle’s tone, it invites you into the track and creates a conversational vibe to it throughout.
