Liverpool Tattoo Convention Announces Packed Music Line-Up For May Event

Ahead of their 9th annual event this May, Liverpool Tattoo Convention have revealed a blistering line-up of live music to complement the three days of artists, fire shows, burlesque glitz, glamour and many other tantalising performances.

Bands and artists from across the north west will be showcasing their talents at the convention from 6th-8th May, covering post-hardcore, metalcore, ska and punk, all the way through to some stripped-back acoustic and folk.

Direct from Liverpool will be the likes of FOES with their cinematic and prog rock sounds as well as Rain May Fall, a five-piece band with a passion for swamp blues riffs, melodic grooves & grungy deliverance.

Wirral group Pavilions be performing on the Unplugged Stage for an exclusive acoustic set, having taken their local area by storm with their post-hardcore sound, influenced by acts such as Don Broco, Sleeping with Sirens and Emarosa.

Other musical standouts include They’re Coming To Get You Barbara, who combine big riffs with synths and harmonies to create their brand of noise, as well as post-punk songstress, Louise Distras who has been described as ‘the love child Patti Smith and Billy Bragg never had’.

Renowned for its innovation, non-stop entertainment and atmosphere, and widely perceived as the most prestigious and innovative tattoo event in the UK – the convention returns to the Britannia Adelphi Hotel this May. The Convention promises to be a weekend to remember and a true celebration of the art of tattooing.

Last year’s show was a huge success with 6000 people enjoying the festivities and setting record attendance numbers in the process. The 2016 show is set to be bigger and better, jam packed with more artists, more traders, and more entertainment.

The convention will see the return of ‘Artists Day’, a great opportunity for artists to get tattooed by peers, take part in the seminars and workshops or simply network and chill. The ‘Artists Evening’ will then see some great bands perform and the winners of the UK Tattoo Industry Awards announced live.

Organised by Liverpool tattoo studio ‘Design 4 Life’, The Liverpool Tattoo Convention is regarded as a must-attend show in the industry, honouring tattoo culture, lifestyle and art. There is something for everyone during this relaxed and enchanting weekend of tattoo, art and variety entertainment.
