New Indian and Sri Lankan Restaurant KISHKINDA To Celebrate Grand Opening in Liverpool With 25% Off Food

Liverpool’s newest Indian and Sri Lankan restaurant is officially celebrating its arrival this month, with a grand opening event and a generous month-long discount for diners.

Located on Myrtle Street, KISHKINDA has recently opened its doors, bringing together the vibrant flavours of India and Sri Lanka in a contemporary setting inspired by Kerala’s rich culinary traditions, temple art and storytelling.

The restaurant’s official grand opening takes place on Saturday 18 July, welcoming invited media, content creators, local dignitaries and members of Liverpool’s hospitality community for an evening showcasing its food, drinks and immersive dining experience.

To mark the launch, KISHKINDA is offering 25% off food throughout July, giving diners the perfect opportunity to experience its modern take on South Asian cuisine.

Guests can expect a menu celebrating the culinary heritage of India and Sri Lanka, with a particular focus on Kerala-inspired dishes, seafood specialities, vegetarian and vegan options, alongside signature Indian-inspired cocktails.

Leading the kitchen is Chef Sanu, whose previous experience includes working with acclaimed Indian actor Mohanlal. His approach combines traditional recipes with creative presentation to showcase the diversity of South Asian cuisine.

The launch event will also feature live entertainment, a curated tasting menu and complimentary food and drinks for invited guests. Members of the public are welcome to visit on the night, with tables available on a first-come, first-served basis, while complimentary tasting samples will be offered to those waiting in the queue. The first 50 guests attending the celebration will also receive a lifetime 20% discount keyring, subject to terms and conditions.

With space for up to 150 guests, KISHKINDA aims to become a standout addition to Liverpool’s thriving food scene, offering an experience that combines authentic flavours, striking interiors and warm South Asian hospitality.
