David Gaffney’s Latest Release ‘Pocket-Sized’ Is The Perfect Track To Take You Into Spring
Producing the kind of music you’d hear played in a cafe on a rainy day, David Gaffney’s smooth voice has that quality about it that instantly makes you relax. Having received airplay on Dave Monk’s slot on BBC Merseyside already, fans can begin to get excited for further releases. With the pitter patter of spring showers to come, what better time for him to release his upcoming EP ‘Our Canons Of Green’.
First single ‘Pocket-Sized’, released at the start of the month, gives a taste of what’s to come with the four track EP. The gentle drum and vocals perfectly blend folk and country, keeping things stripped back for a more natural sound. It is a song rich in melody that will set you at ease every time you give it a listen.

Despite being recorded in Berlin the EP seems far away from the busy city life of the capital or David’s home city Liverpool. Instead, if ‘Pocket-Sized’ is any to go by, the songs will transport you to a place far outside the city where things are a little less hectic. The other tracks are sure to be just as smooth and easy to listen to.
