Acclaimed comedian Jim Jefferies is set to bring his brand-new stand-up tour, Son of a Carpenter, to Liverpool’s Empire Theatre on Tuesday 4 November 2025.
Known for his sharp wit, brutally honest storytelling, and ability to challenge beliefs with humour, Jefferies has become one of the most influential voices in global comedy. The Liverpool date is part of an extensive UK tour that also includes shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, and London.
The Australian-born, UK-forged comedian has released ten stand-up specials, including five Netflix hits. His latest, High & Dry (2023), explored everything from newlywed life to koalas and male pattern baldness, all delivered in his trademark provocative style.
Beyond stand-up, Jefferies co-created and starred in the FX series Legit, hosted The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central, and in 2019 was named Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival. He is currently hosting FOX reality show The Snake and will soon star in Jordan Peele’s upcoming film Him, set for release in September 2025. Fans can also look forward to his new Netflix special, Town Limb Policy, premiering worldwide on 12 August 2025.
