Windmill Release Ethereal New Single ‘One More Dance’

Windmill One More Dance

Four-piece band, Windmill, are particularly experimental with their music. Their previous singles ‘Birdman’, ‘Where Are We Now’ and ‘Tiny Children’ all evoke a similarly haunting sound. Formed over their shared love for Angus and Julia Stone, Neil Young, and the Velvet Underground, the Liverpudlians bring together all of their individual talents to make a special kind of music that is unlike most music around at the moment.

The band, made up of Mick Dolan, Dawn Williams, David T Palmer, Louise Rodriguez and Jennifer Scully, recently released official single ‘One More Dance’ in lieu of their plans for debut album ‘Sandcastle’. After receiving airplay on BBC Radio Merseyside the band can only expect to gather a larger fan base soon.

All three female vocals come together to create varying harmonies with an inspiring balance of choir, easy listening music, and something more. The gentle guitar riffs, steady drumbeat and delicate piano key notes perfectly compliment the vocals adding another layer of mystery to the lyrics. It is this mystery and haunting quality that makes the band’s music special. They have produced something beautiful with ‘One More Dance’, stirring an inner part of the listener, urging them to play the track one more time and reach the ‘last dance’.

Listen to the band’s other singles via their Soundcloud account, and follow their Facebook and Twitter pages for full updates. More news about the band’s debut album ‘Sandcastle’ is still to be revealed.
