Celebrate Liverpool Pride At GPO In Metquarter

Liverpool’s biggest party of the year is back! To celebrate love and inclusivity, GPO Food Market at Metquarter is hosting a fun-filled lineup of events sure to get visitors feeling fabulous for this year’s Liverpool Pride. 

On Saturday 27 July, the food market will be filled with a jam-packed schedule of exciting entertainment, perfect for those looking to celebrate this year’s Pride with friends and family, including a DJ set hosted by Liverpool’s own Kiki Pain, a selection of flavoured cocktails named after an array of iconic Drag Queens, three independent Pride pop-up stalls filled with products created by local vendors, a glitter face painting station and a Pride inspired bottomless brunch. 

Kiki Pain will host a drag DJ set at GPO from 2 – 7pm, with an array of classic hits sure to get visitors excited for the Pride celebrations across the city. Meanwhile the independent Pride Stalls and glitter face painting will be available from 12pm – 4pm. The ever so iconic Drag Queen inspired flavoured cocktails will include a Raspberry – Bi The Way, Blood Orange – Bianca Bob, Pink Grapefruit – Lily Savage, Black Cherry – Miss Vanjie, Rhubarb Ginger – Rhubarb RuPaul and Peach – Peaches and Screamss with 10% of all profits going to LCR Pride.

Meanwhile three stallholders taking part in GPO’s Pride celebrations include @belbizarre, who will offer an array of handmade croc charms, keyrings, earrings, necklaces and clay worms, @trippy_kid_clothing who will offer visitors printed and tie dye clothing, hand designed stickers, and custom button badges and @goodgirlsgonebead who will offer a selection of fun friendship inspired bead bracelets.  

GPO’s bottomless brunch will also be re-launching from 27 July starting with GPO’s Pride themed bottomless brunch, meaning visitors will be able to dine and drink on a walk-in basis for ninety minutes on the day from 11am – 3pm.

Guests for bottomless brunch can pay just £25 and enjoy unlimited Pravha, Prosecco, Cider and Mocktails. Alternatively, guests can upgrade and pay £30 and have all the drinks options available in the £25 option plus any of the drinks on GPO’s new cocktail menu! Once paid, guests will be given a receipt voucher which will be printed off by the team and can be redeemed against any food vendors for the value of £10 within the food hall. 

With the re-launch of the bottomless brunch, GPO’s new cocktail menu has also landed offering amazing deals throughout the week with £5 cocktails available Monday to Friday from 4pm – 6pm and ‘Double Up Friday’ where guests will be able to receive by one get one free on all cocktails all day.
