Vetch Restaurant Launches Rapide Lunch Menu

Following the successful launch of VETCH, the debut restaurant by former Great British Menu Champion of Champions, Dan McGeorge on 10 May, the restaurant has announced the launch of a new rapide lunch menu.

The new rapide menu priced from just £35 per person is designed to provide diners pushed for time with a choice of tasty dish options that they can enjoy in under an hour.

Dishes include:

Mackerel, Turnip, Elderflower & Dill,
Beef, Aubergine, Morning Glory & Nasturtium
Milk Chocolate, Miso, Caramel & Rice

The new rapide lunch menu is now being served at the Hope Street restaurant three days a week Thursday to Saturday, from 12pm, with last reservations at 2.30pm

Meanwhile VETCH’S five-course dinner menu, priced at £85, and seven-course dinner menu, priced at £105, are both served Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm.

Dan McGeorge commented: ”We’ve been really pleased with how things have gone since we opened the doors earlier this month. Now that we’ve hit our stride, we wanted to take the opportunity to offer diners an additional menu choice.

It’s important that we offer people a choice because not everyone has the time to be able to sit down and enjoy a leisurely lunch. There’s lots of different types of foods and food styles that we enjoy eating at lunch, and some of the ingredients from those cuisines have inspired the first collection of dishes to feature in our rapide lunch menu.

Each dish that features is cooked with the same passion and attention to detail, but because of the dishes we’ve chosen we’ve been able to create something that is easily accessible in terms of time, which means that diners who are time poor can now enjoy a tasty lunch menu at VETCH too.”
