Nolita Cantina; The Boldest of Bold Streets Burgers

Bold Street is awash with great places to eat nowadays; almost every taste is catered for. Nolita Cantina caters to meat lovers, and boy does it cater well. Nolita is styled after New York burger and deli joints, and as a result offers a great range of deli sandwiches and meaty dishes (as well as vegetarian options for those less carnivorous).

The Restaurant itself manages to be long and narrow without feeling cramped, with an open kitchen at the far end. The small and intimate interior really helps create a great cool and trendy atmosphere.

Nolita has a great range of dishes on its menu. A starter costs between £1.95 and £4.95. Having tried a fair few of the starters on offer during my visits, I’d recommend the Chicken Blasts or the Frickles (that’s fried pickles to you and me). There is also a large selection of mains on offer. Nolita offers deli sandwiches, meaty mains (Pulled pork, Brisket or Belly Pork) and a selection of burgers. All of the burgers are double stacked and come with fries (a combination of potato fries and sweet potato fries) and coleslaw.

On my latest visit I decided to give the pulled pork burger a go. I must say I was pretty happy with my choice. The pulled pork was made brilliantly and had its own taste, whilst not taking away from that of the burger. Plus, finding sweet potato fries mixed in with your normal fries is always great.

Overall Nolita Cantina is a great place to eat. It serves fantastic food at reasonable prices and has a brilliant atmosphere to boot. Nolita really adds to what is becoming a great scene down on Bold Street. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I strongly suggest that you do.
