Liverpool’s top study and WFH spots
As a student in Liverpool, or a professional whose office job has become a work-from-my-bed job, you might be finding it difficult to be as productive at home, and need a new space to work from.
Luckily, Liverpool is full of cosy, friendly and wonderful places, that will make your working day that little bit better or studying for that exam feel a bit lighter. We’ve created a guide to Liverpool’s top study and WFH spots, from independent coffee houses to exciting hot desks.
Liverpool Central Library
Liverpool Central Library is perfect for students who need to escape their noisy housemates and have a little peace and quiet. With two floors of seating, free WiFi and a coffee shop inside, this is the perfect spot. If you need to use the computers, remember to bring your library card. Become a member to receive your library card in the post or collect it in person.
92 Degrees Jamaica Street
92 Degrees have multiple branches but for studying or working from home, our favourite is definitely Jamaica Street. Located in the Baltic Triangle, there’s lots of indoor and outdoor seating, amazing food and drink options and lovely staff. Grab yourself a biscoff brownie, hazelnut oat latte and get cracking on your latest project.
Rococo Coffee House
Located on Liverpool’s busy Lord Street, Rococo is an idyllic coffee house, with multiple floors, beautiful interior and delicious coffee. Our Editor swears by Rococo as a study or WFH spot, specifically the third floor.
Mother Espresso
Mother Espresso is hidden away on Wood Street, just behind Bold Street, and is a quiet, independent space perfect for professionals and students. Choose to sit independently or with others, and grab yourself a vegan cinnamon donut.
Avenue HQ
Avenue HQ have two locations in Liverpool: Mann Island and St Paul’s Square. Both office spaces offer hot design/co-working, perfect for professionals and freelancers. Membership begins at £90 per month and there’s access to food, drink and on-site security. The decor is simple and modern and both locations are perfect for regaining focus and having a productive day.
Basecamp Baltic Triangle
A hot desk at Basecamp, in the vibrant Baltic Triangle, is £120 and includes high speed internet, access to meeting rooms and kitchen facilities. Working in the Baltic Creative Campus is perfect for any professionals, entrepreneurs or creatives, who want to work with like-minded individuals. Less than a minute away from 92 Degrees too!
