Slim’s Pork Chop Express Presents Pudding Club X Bake-O-Rama
With The Great British Bake Off finally back on our screens, desserts and cakes are once again the talk of the Nation, and Liverpool hot-spot Slim’s Pork Chop Express have announced a mouth-watering one-off event next month, sure to sate even the biggest sweet-tooth.
On Thursday 14th September Seel Street’s Slim’s Pork Chop Express will be playing host to Pudding Club with Bake-O-Rama; where sugar-loving dessert aficionados and cocktail lovers can enjoy five indulgent courses, for one night only.
Originating from Manchester, Pudding Club is the brainchild of Charlotte O’Toole, who has been running the one-off event for over two years, with the events regularly being a sell-out. At this particular supper club, the talented team behind Slims Pork Chop Express have created a selection of delicious cocktails designed to complement the flavours and textures within each of the courses. Although the finer details of the menu will be kept a secret until the day, diners will be offered a flavoursome savoury starter, followed by four incredible dessert options, which will combine warm, hot and frozen dishes with experimental flavourings.
Charlotte has previously stated she is a big fan of traditional puddings, however she is celebrated for her creativity and this is clearly demonstrated in her dessert dishes, which offer unusual versions of much-loved classics. This menu will have influences from America, Japan and Mexico, meaning guests can expect an exciting and diverse menu, brimming with sweet treats and creative cocktails.
