As festival season approaches we’ll take you through 10 amazing Liverpool Festivals that you’re going to want to be a part of. Whether you’re looking to dance the days and nights away or if you’re looking to indulge in some culture and learn more about the world and appreciate your part in it, we’ve got you covered.

Liverpool Against Racism

Liverpool Against Racism is a brand-new festival coming to Liverpool, jam-packed with music and cultural events which have been put together to stimulate important, eye-opening discussions about Racism and what we can do as a community to take a stand against it.

Supported by the Mayor Joanne Anderson and led by music figure Yaw Owusu, this event will include talks, debates, and cultural events, of course topped with brilliant musical entertainment. The event will run from the 23 – 30 of April, taking place in venues such as Camp & Furnace, The Spine and Liverpool John Moore’s student union. Tickets cost £20 per person. Sound City 2022

One of the UK’s most popular independent festivals is back from 30 April – 1 May to showcase up and coming artists and bands for 2 days of amazing music from artists such as The Lathum’s, Alfie Templeman, Self Esteem and more! Who knows, your favourite future musicians may be waiting here for you to discover them.

Liverpool Disco Festival 9 Weekender 2022

Liverpool Disco Festival is returning for an amazing festival experience at Camp & Furnace this April 30 – May 1. Incognito will be performing, who are celebrating 40 years in the game with their new commemorative compilation featuring collabs with some of the planets finest artists such as Stevie wonder, Chaka khan, Jocelyn brown & Carleen Anderson. The 10-piece band will be performing some of their best disco hits across a 90-minute set.

Other bands such as Dimitri from Paris and Kings of tomorrow will also be performing! So put your jazz pants on and get down to Camp and Furnace for an unforgettable night. Tickets range from £11 to £43. Get more information and tickets here.

Craft Beer Expo 2022

Black Lodge Brewery and Subrosa in the Baltic Triangle are hosting this years craft beer festival in Liverpool. The day will be filled with lots of music, food, and of course alcoholic beverages such as Gin, Cocktails, Cider and most importantly Beer! What’s better than enjoying a beer with your pals on a hot summer’s day?

Africa Oyé Festival 2022

Africa Oyé is coming back to Liverpool from 18 – 19 June to celebrate their 30th anniversary at Sefton Park. Celebrating African culture, many African artists will be performing on stage with drink and merchandise stalls located around the park.

Artists such as Elidia Almeida and Eek-a-Mouse will be bringing you fantastic cultural music and entertainment for you to dance the night away to. Entrance to the festival is FREE! Children are granted entrance, with a wrist band available for phone numbers to be written on in case of an emergency.

Liverpool Soul Weekender 2022

Soul weekender returns this June to give you 3 days of powerful DJ soul music from 24 – 27 June presented to you by the Tuff Love Soul Club. The talented southern soul spinner, Ruben Molina, will be joining artists such as Akro1, Cameron Thompson and many more.

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival 2022

Established in 2002, Liverpool Arab Arts Festival is bringing to you a platform to showcase amazing traditional and contemporary Arab art forms for you to learn about and appreciate the beauty of Arab culture and all it has to offer, located in Sefton Parks Palm House.

They aim to bring diverse cultures and communities together within this 10-day festival running from the 7 – 17 July, bridging the gap between different walks of life. Prepare yourself for educational events, family fun, food and lots of cultural music, dance, art, theatre, AND literature! Sounds like an experience you can’t miss out on!

Let’s Rock Liverpool 2022

The UK’s most popular retro Festival is coming to Liverpool this July to bring you an 80’s dream with lots of 80’s hits for you and your family to enjoy! Artists such as Billy Ocean, Level 42, The Human League and more will be performing at Wavertree playing fields.

International Beatleweek

Jazz up your summer with the International Beatleweek Festival, a week full of live music, ranging from some of The Beatles best work to up and coming local artists and bands. There will also be days filled with guest speakers, a day full of films and a huge flea market filled with The Beatles memorabilia!

The festival will take place across a range of venues from August 24 – 30 such as the Cavern Club, Shankly hotel, The Adelphi Wave Bar and more! The Liverpool Gin Festival

This festival is bringing to you Liverpool’s finest gins for your taste buds to fall in love with. With hundreds of handcrafted world-wide gins to experience, your bound to find your new go-to. You’ll be happy to know all the gins will be on sale to purchase either by glass or bottle, or if your very enthusiastic, by the case!

The festival will run for two days from the 2-3 December. The event will take place in St George’s Hall with tickets starting from £10 per person. Live entertainment will be playing to keep the spirits up as you down some spirits (pun intended). Get tickets.
