Sister Sledge Ft. Kathy Sledge Playing BOXPARK Liverpool This Summer

Award-winning food and live music venue BOXPARK will embrace disco and soul fever this summer with a showstopping performance from Sister Sledge ft. Kathy Sledge as part of the venue’s incredible programme of live music sessions.

BOXPARK Liverpool will welcome the legendary Sister Sledge ft. Grammy award-winner Kathy Sledge on Saturday 13 July between 5pm – 11pm . Visitors can enjoy iconic disco hits including classics such as We Are Family, He’s The Greatest Dancer and Lost In Music alongside the best drinks and street food Liverpool has to offer with global cuisine presented by the venue’s nine specially curated traders.

Commenting on the upcoming performance, David Byrne, Head of Events at BOXPARK Liverpool said: “It’s important to us that BOXPARK offers the best in entertainment, celebrating music, arts and culture as well as offering the best in food and drink. To be hosting one of the most influential acts of the past fifty years in one of our venues is so exciting and we can’t wait to share what else we’ve got planned for 2024 and beyond!”

Since 1971, Sister Sledge and Kathy Sledge have pioneered disco gaining millions of fans across the globe spanning generations of lovers of dance, music and good times – iconic producer Nile Rodgers says it best: “Kathy has one of the most original and unique voices in pop music. Always has and always will!”.

The event is the latest BOXPARK Liverpool’s Black Card Sessions, an exclusive series of live music shows in partnership with Coors, showcasing a mix of cult classic heroes, nostalgic acts and emerging breakthrough artists. With general admission tickets from just £5 + booking fee, disco lovers are set for an unforgettable night of music paired with some of  the best in food and drink in Liverpool at BOXPARK.
