Superlekka Liverpool Announces November Opening Date And Calls For Games Testers

A brand-new competitive socialising venue is preparing to open in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle this November, and it’s giving people the chance to try out its games before the official launch.

Superlekka, described as the world’s first ‘Game Show Olympics’, has confirmed it will open on Thursday 19 November 2026, with bookings now live for the new entertainment experience.

Designed for the self-proclaimed ‘armchair Olympian’, Superlekka brings together a series of game-show-inspired challenges, combining friendly competition, plenty of laughs and the chance to be crowned a champion.

From date nights and birthday celebrations to group outings and Christmas parties, the venue promises a new way for friends, families and colleagues to go head-to-head in a series of entertaining challenges.

Superlekka Is Looking For Games Testers

Ahead of its official opening, Superlekka is inviting people across Liverpool to sign up as official Games Testers, offering a limited number of participants the opportunity to experience the venue before anyone else.

The call-out is open to anyone aged 18 and over, with no special skills, sporting ability or competitive experience required.

Selected testers will be invited to exclusive sessions where they’ll get to try out Superlekka’s range of challenges, including giant beer pong, quiz-show podiums and a fast-paced game inspired by the classic TV show Supermarket Sweep.

The experience also features RFID wristbands and a custom-built digital scoring system that connects the different games, automatically tracking scores and displaying real-time leaderboards.

As well as being among the first to experience the venue, testers will help the Superlekka team fine-tune the games and technology ahead of opening. They’ll also have the chance to get their names on the venue’s very first leaderboards and compete to become one of its first-ever champions.

Kip Piper, founder of Superlekka, said:

“We’ve spent 12 months building and prototyping every part of Superlekka, and now we need Liverpool to come and play it for real. Superlekka is games for the people, so it’s only right that the people get the first go.

“You don’t need to be sporty and you don’t need any skill, you just need to be up for it. Our games testers will be the first in the city to feel that podium moment, and I can’t wait to see who gets crowned the very first Champ.”
