Liverpool fashion lovers are in for a treat as Open Door, The Whitechapel Centre’s charity shops, bring back their much-loved Fill A Bag event this October.
Taking place on Monday 13 October at One Fine Day, Old Hall Street, the event offers bargain hunters and sustainable fashion fans the chance to rummage through rails of donated clothes, uncover hidden gems, and give pre-loved items a new lease of life.
For just £15 per session, attendees will receive a bag and two hours to fill it with as many items as they can find—whether it’s wardrobe staples, vintage brands, or quirky one-off pieces. There are two sessions available: 3-5pm and 6-8pm, with tickets sold separately.
The event is more than just a shopping spree; it’s a way to support The Whitechapel Centre’s vital work tackling homelessness across Liverpool.
And for those making a full afternoon of it, the adjoining Little Leaf café will be serving up refreshments to keep energy levels high between fashion forages.
