Royal Albert Dock Announces Free Pride Celebrations With Sonic Yootha & Invisible Wind Factory
Royal Albert Dock Liverpool will come alive for Liverpool’s Pride celebrations on Saturday 26 July as it teams up LGBTQIA+ champions, Sonic Yootha and Invisible Wind Factory, for an afternoon packed with music, joy and community spirit – all free for visitors to enjoy.
Anchor Courtyard, located on the corner of Gower Street and Salthouse Quay, will be transformed into an open-air party space, perfect for keeping celebrations going after Liverpool’s Pride march on the waterfront.
From 1pm-4:30pm, enjoy high-energy DJ sets and non-stop feel-good anthems from a pop-up stage. Expect an upbeat soundtrack programmed by Sonic Yootha, a LGBTQIA+ club night known for its inclusive dancefloors and celebration of queer joy. Sonic Yootha will take over the decks, including WMNKND, who has been a firm favourite at the dock’s pop-up stages at previous Prides.

Bringing the party to every corner of the dock, a specially decorated bike sound system, created by Invisible Wind Factory in collaboration with Peloton Liverpool, will also cruise around the inner quay from 2pm-4pm. Sonic Yootha drag artist, Jackie J, known for channelling colour and joy into every space, will accompany the bike, stopping around the dock to dance with visitors and snap a selfie.
Acting as the perfect pop-up space, Anchor Courtyard has had a pride-ready makeover, with its wooden cabins freshly painted and draped in colourful bunting to bring a splash of colour. Dockside venues will serve up special menus from 12pm-5pm, including light bites and refreshing drinks.
The One O’Clock Gun will serve a summer-ready menu, featuring frozen red, white, and mixed Sangrias, alongside draught and canned beers. Meanwhile, Francie’s Focaccia and Coffee will dish up Italian sweet treats alongside Lemon Coolers and soft drinks.

Support for the LGBTQIA+ community will spread across the dock with in-venue celebrations taking place throughout the day. Head to Revolution from 1:30pm for a Pride Day Party, featuring a limited-edition Long Island Iced Queen cocktail, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Stonewall UK. Over at Revolución de Cuba, enjoy a vibrant Latin-inspired celebration, complete with live Cuban-style music and a specially crafted Absolute Queen cocktail.
Sean Morrison, Estate Manager at Royal Albert Dock, comments: “By teaming up with the brilliant minds behind Sonic Yootha and Invisible Wind Factory, we’re bringing a vibrant, free event to the dock that’s all about inclusivity, energy and community. Whether you’re joining us after the march or just soaking up the atmosphere, everyone’s welcome to be part of the celebration for one of Liverpool’s cultural calendar highlights.”
With vibrant, feel-good entertainment, delicious food and drink, and a welcoming atmosphere for all, the dock is the perfect place to soak up the spirit of Pride in Liverpool this year.
