Albert’s Schloss Liverpool is bringing back Oktoberfest for its longest and most wunderbar celebration yet, with five whole weeks of world-famous biers, Bavarian-inspired food and unforgettable entertainment taking over the Bier Palace from Saturday 19 September until Sunday 25 October 2026.
Inspired by Munich’s iconic festival, Oktoberfest at Albert’s Schloss promises a packed calendar of authentic traditions, lively competitions and immersive showtime. Last year, more than 30,000 of Munich’s Big Six biers were served at Albert’s Schloss during Oktoberfest, and 2026 is set to raise the stein once again. Best of all, there’s no ticket required, guests can drop in and soak up the atmosphere every day throughout the festival.
No Oktoberfest would be complete without exceptional bier, and Albert’s Schloss remains the only venue in Liverpool pouring all six official Oktoberfest biers from Munich’s legendary breweries: Spaten, Paulaner, Löwenbräu, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbräu and Augustiner throughout the festival.
The festivities begin on Saturday 19 September with a launch celebration featuring the first ceremonial keg tapping of the season, serving Paulaner bier straight from the tap. From then on, keg tapping ceremonies will take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, bringing the unmistakable spirit of Munich and the highest quality fresh bier to Liverpool week after week.
Across five weeks of Bavarian antics, guests can expect live Oompah and brass bands, stein-holding showdowns, hat throwing and competitive pretzel tossing. New for 2026, the celebrations will feature even more mischief, with ‘Guess the Sausage’, a mystery taste-test and ‘Hans On, Hans Off’, a gloriously silly challenge involving themed cardboard cut-outs.
Entertainment will run seven days a week, from the singalong energy of Jukebox Baby or the late-night party atmosphere of Disko Wunderbar, with every visit promising something different.
Brand new for 2026 is ‘Das true taste of Munich’, Bier Masterclasses. Available for groups of 6 – 30 drinkers, guests can try all the Munich Big 6 Oktoberfest biers and tour the taps with a resident bier specialist, served alongside a sharing platter of Mini Bratwursts and Haus Pretzels. To finish, guests can choose one of the biers to enjoy as a full pint alongside a Klassic Bratwurst – all for £50 per person.
Away from the steins, the bar will also be serving a range of Alpine-inspired cocktails, including the Yuzu Gin Oktoberfest Spritz, all crafted with Monkey 47 & Fevertree.
The Cook Haus has also created a menu worthy of the occasion, bringing together a host of Bavarian favourites alongside some new additions for 2026. Returning favourites include the Paprika Roasted Half Chicken, traditional Schweinshaxe and Currywurst, while new for this year is the Slow Cooked Beef Goulash, made with tender beef featherblade and served with sformato, roasted peppers, gherkins and sour cream. To finish, guests can indulge in München Mess or a warming Klassic Apple Strudel.
For those looking to make a feast of it, the Bavarian Feast (£60 for two) brings together fan-favourite mains, moreish sides and Oktoberfest bier per person. Larger groups of nine or more can tuck into the Taste of Munich Smorgasbord (£45pp), a sharing spread of small plates, a drink token and an Oktoberfest Schnapps per person. Prost!
