Newsham Scream Park Reveals The Bus Yard Courtyard Takeover With Four New Horror Experiences Announced
Liverpool’s Newsham Scream Park is returning for Halloween 2026 with four new horror experiences and a transformed food and entertainment courtyard created in partnership with The Bus Yard.
The popular scare attraction returns to Newsham Park from 9 October, promising its biggest and most immersive Halloween event to date.
This year, The Bus Yard will become Newsham Scream Park’s official courtyard partner, bringing its popular street food, drinks and live entertainment to the heart of the event.
The courtyard will give visitors somewhere to eat, drink and soak up the atmosphere before entering the scare attractions—or recover and compare experiences afterwards.
The Bus Yard will serve a menu that includes salt and pepper chicken, chicken burgers, loaded fries and smash burgers, along with churros for anyone looking for something sweet. A fully stocked bar and live music will complete the courtyard experience.
Known for hosting street food events across Liverpool, The Bus Yard has become one of the city’s best-loved independent food brands.

Four New Scare Mazes Coming to Newsham Scream Park
Alongside the new courtyard, Newsham Scream Park has revealed four original horror experiences for 2026. Each attraction will explore a different kind of fear through theatrical storytelling, psychological suspense, sensory effects and live actors.
SpecimenZ
Described as Newsham’s terrifying new blackout experience, SpecimenZ takes visitors into the aftermath of a secret Cold War experiment.
Catastrophic radiation testing has created horrifying mutated creatures—and guests must find their way through the attraction in complete darkness.
Waxworks
Waxworks invites visitors into a forgotten Victorian museum filled with disturbingly lifelike exhibits.
As guests make their way through its abandoned displays, they will discover that the figures may be more real than they first appeared.
Cut Throat Lane
Inspired by one of Liverpool’s most infamous urban legends, Cut Throat Lane is a sensory-deprived experience set among the shadowy streets of Victorian Liverpool.
Visitors will enter a world stalked by the legendary Spring-Heeled Jack, who could be waiting around any dark corner.
The Hellfire Club
The Hellfire Club is an optional premium experience available exclusively to visitors aged 18 and over.
The attraction takes guests behind the doors of a mysterious secret society, where temptation comes with a terrifying price.
