Christmas at Liverpool ONE 2026: New Giant Tree, Curling and Festive Events Announced
Christmas at Liverpool ONE is set to be bigger than ever in 2026, with a giant new 30-metre Christmas tree, an ice-free curling experience and a packed programme of festive events announced.
Liverpool ONE will transform for the festive season with new decorations and experiences joining returning favourites including the Christmas Toy Parade, Festive Thursdays and some of the destination’s most popular Christmas photo spots.
One of the biggest new additions for 2026 is Stone’s Throw Social, a new winter leisure experience taking over Chavasse Park from 3 October until 3 January 2027.
The venue will feature eight ice-free curling lanes, six karaoke huts and two shuffleboard tables, offering a new spot for festive get-togethers with friends, family and colleagues. Packages can be pre-booked, while walk-ins will also be available.
A Giant New Christmas Tree For Liverpool ONE
The festive transformation continues on Friday 6 November, when Liverpool ONE unveils its new Christmas decorations.
At the centre of this year’s display will be an impressive 30-metre Christmas tree at Paradise Place. For the first time, visitors will be able to walk through the middle of the tree, creating a new festive attraction and photo opportunity in the heart of Liverpool city centre.
Elsewhere, new decorations will include a twinkling light canopy at Peter’s Lane and Keys Court, a light curtain at the Church Street and Keys Court entrance, and a light drape and supersized suspended bauble at Peter’s Square.
Several familiar favourites will be returning too, including Liverpool ONE’s bauble arch, reindeer and angel wings.

Liverpool ONE Christmas Toy Parade Returns
The popular Christmas Toy Parade will return on Saturday 14 November, once again created in collaboration with Walk the Plank.
Dancing toys, festive characters and Santa will make their way across Liverpool ONE as part of the spectacle.
Festive Thursdays will also return throughout December, bringing free live entertainment to the city centre, alongside a series of Christmas choir performances featuring local charities and community groups.
There’s another new addition to the calendar this year, with Liverpool ONE hosting its first Wishmas on Saturday 5 December.
The all-day event will feature opportunities to win prizes alongside free festive entertainment and will be hosted by presenters Jay Hynd and Gemma Cutting.
Brendan Hattam, Centre Director at Liverpool ONE, said: “At Liverpool ONE, Christmas is always a special time and this year it will be even more so.
“From our brand-new Christmas decorations to the return of our well-loved Toy Parade, we are very excited to bring guests together to feel a bit of Christmas magic in our centre, especially with the arrival of Stone’s Throw Social. There will definitely be something for everyone to enjoy this winter.”
Marty Finney, Creative Director at Stone’s Throw Social, added: “At Stone’s Throw Social, we believe the best times are the ones you talk about afterwards.
“That’s why we’re bringing ice-free curling, karaoke, shuffleboard, great food and drinks to Chavasse Park at Liverpool ONE from October to January, creating this winter’s most social get-together.
“A place for colleagues, friends and families to come together, enjoy a little friendly competition and make memories that last long after the night ends.”
Liverpool ONE will also introduce extended Christmas shopping hours from Monday 14 December until Wednesday 23 December.
With the new giant tree, curling, karaoke, festive entertainment and the return of the Christmas Toy Parade, there will be plenty happening at Liverpool ONE throughout the run-up to Christmas 2026.
