KingFast Returns With Laid-Back Soul Track ‘Never Felt This Way Before’

With the imminent release of his 2nd single, the undeniable talent that is KingFast returns with another soul-pop masterclass.

Having been in Liverpool for as long as we can remember, coming to us from his Belfast beginnings, his newest release entitled Never Felt This Way Before brings us that same Pop/Soul infusion that he’s managed to grasp so wonderfully. His live shows have been part of the reason of his success, alongside his time working with Merseyrail Sound Station where he won the competition allowing him to develop his skills as a solo artist. He has been busy in the background putting work in with Liverpool festivals such as Sound City and Threshold Festival.

This track gives us some of his beautiful falsetto ranges straight from the off, showing off that solo voice/acoustic guitar combination he is known for, before kicking in with a laid-back rhythm section that still very much has KingFast driving the proceedings. The chilled out vibe lays out a blanket for KingFast to flex his vocal range, soaring across the chorus and really finishing the song off.

If you’re new to his music, his influences of Michael Jackson, Ed Sheeran and Stevie Wonder can all be traced as we listen through. He’s been keeping himself busy lately with a host of covers, posting some content for the likes of House of Scouse (along with Liverpool Noise favourite Ben Burke) and Smithdown Road Virtual Festival along with many others.

We hope once this is all over we’ll see you at a live show! In the meantime, until the 22 April to be exact, head over to his social media channels for a taste of his music.
