Abstract Alchemy Exhibition Brings Nature’s Transformations to dot-art Gallery This Autumn
dot-art Gallery in Liverpool will host Abstract Alchemy, a new group exhibition featuring works by Amanda Oliphant, Felice Beilin and Rachel McArdle, running from 5 September – 11 October 2025.
The exhibition explores how three artists use processes akin to alchemy to transform recordings, memories and lived experiences of nature into abstract depictions of landscapes in constant flux.
- Amanda Oliphant translates patterns, rhythms, and sensations of the natural world into textured visual stories. Drawing on written reflections and intuitive mark-making, her work captures both the visible and hidden mysteries of place.
- Felice Beilin focuses on colour and gesture to create mood and atmosphere, highlighting light, space, and the viewer’s relationship with the environment.
- Rachel McArdle is inspired by reflections, skies, and shifting light, distilling vast scenes into intimate moments that balance physical space with emotional resonance.
All artworks will be available for sale during the exhibition.
A Private View will take place on Thursday 4 September, 5–7pm, offering visitors the first chance to explore the works. The event is free and open to all, but registration is required via Eventbrite.
The dot-art Gallery is located at 14 Queen Avenue, Castle Street, Liverpool, L2 4TX, just five minutes’ walk from Liverpool ONE. The gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10am–6pm.
