BBC Radio 1 Film Critic Ali Plumb Brings his ‘Untitled Film Quiz Project’ to Liverpool’s Picturehouse Cinema at FACT
Movie buffs and trivia enthusiasts, arm yourselves with your best and most obscure film knowledge! After an incredibly successful run at other Picturehouse cinemas, Ali Plumb, BBC Radio 1’s best-loved film critic, is taking his delightfully nerdy Untitled Film Quiz Project on the road, with exciting live events scheduled at three iconic Picturehouse venues: Cambridge Arts Picturehouse, Chester Picturehouse and Picturehouse at FACT, Liverpool.
Designed to test the knowledge of both casual cinema-goers and hardcore cinephiles alike, Ali Plumb’s Untitled Film Quiz Project promises an evening filled with comedic and engaging challenges, covering the biggest blockbuster hits and cult-classics, to obscure industry insights that only a true film-insider like Plumb could provide.
Each round will feature wacky film trivia, absurd music rounds, perplexing motion picture puzzles and the occasional half-decent joke, as he enthusiastically asks you questions that’ll make you go, “Oh I know this one!” or “Argh, I nearly know this one!”. There will also be plenty of spot prizes given away throughout the night, as well as a big movie-themed prize for the winning team!
Tickets are available to purchase online and in-cinema for £10 per person, with a maximum of 5 people per team. Early booking is recommended as these events are expected to sell out quickly.
