Scare City is returning to the abandoned Camelot Theme Park for Halloween 2026, with eight terrifying zones set to take visitors deeper into the attraction than ever before.
Vast areas of the former theme park that have previously remained untouched and inaccessible will be opened to guests for the first time, revealing a collection of nightmarish new worlds filled with sinister characters, disturbing stories and unexpected scares.
The castle may have burned and the park may have been left to decay, but something has been waiting in the darkness.
This year, there will be no single story to survive. Instead, visitors will be thrown from one nightmare into another, encountering everything from a murderous Victorian barber and a demonic orphanage to a cannibal settlement, cursed woodland and military bunker where the dead refuse to stay buried.
Eight New Scare City Horror Zones
One of the most sinister additions to Scare City 2026 is Cutthroat & Co, where the polished surroundings of a Victorian barber shop conceal something rotten beneath the surface.
Inspired by the legend of Sweeney Todd, its barber is dangerously obsessed with perfection. Beneath the floorboards lie the remains of former customers – and not everyone who enters the shop will make it back out.
The Devil’s Orphanage promises a different but equally unsettling kind of terror. Children’s laughter and nursery rhymes echo through an orphanage where something demonic has taken root, creating a world in which childhood innocence has been twisted into something deeply disturbing.
At The Skinning Shed, guests will enter the brutal world of Blackroot Farm. Here, the Hargreaves family continue their work long after dark, and the line between the human and the harvested has disappeared.
Those who make it through will find little chance of safety elsewhere.
The Correction Facility takes visitors inside the abandoned Camelot Asylum, while The Settlement offers a glimpse of a brutal world in the aftermath of civilisation’s collapse.
Meanwhile, Thornveil Coven leads guests into a forest controlled by an ancient circle. Paths twist, whispers follow from within the darkness and the woods themselves appear determined to prevent intruders from escaping.
CarniValley Returns with a Twisted New Experience
CarniValley is the only surviving zone from previous editions of Scare City, but it has been transformed into an even more grotesque spectacle for 2026.
Its ringmaster has created a world in which freaks, outcasts and captured souls are forced to compete in increasingly brutal games. Visitors will have to play along, navigate a disorientating vortex and survive the challenges if they want to make it through.
Those who succeed become part of the attraction. Those who fail become part of it in a very different way.
A Vampire Diner and Arcade
Even the new food and drink area offers no guarantee of safety.
Known as Rest Bite, the retro-inspired diner and arcade is inhabited by vampires and freaks with their own ideas about entertainment.
It may provide somewhere to eat, drink and catch your breath, but fortune-telling, strange performances and an atmosphere of constant surveillance will ensure that the nightmare continues even when the screams stop.
A Completely New Journey Through Camelot
At the heart of Scare City 2026 will be a completely new journey through the abandoned Camelot Theme Park.
A never-before-used entrance and exit route has been created, removing any sense of familiarity from the moment guests arrive. Recognisable landmarks have been hidden, replaced or left only half-visible in the darkness, making it impossible for visitors to trust their memory or instincts.
The new route will open previously unexplored parts of the site, taking guests farther into the remains of the former theme park than any previous Scare City experience.
The castle burned. The park was abandoned. But something survived.
