The Feel Social Lands At Deluca’s This May With Special Guest DJ Allister Whitehead

This May, Liverpool venue DeLuca’s introduces something new to the city’s social calendar.

The Feel Social arrives with positive and welcome vibes for those who genuinely care about music, played the way it should be.

Taking place on Saturday 2nd May, from 4pm–11pm, the event reimagines the traditional day party, offering a carefully curated journey through sound. At its core is a deep appreciation for mid-century vinyl culture, with sets rooted in soul, funk and disco, seamlessly blended with a contemporary edge of house music.

Leading the line-up as a super-special guest is one of the true pioneers of UK club culture: Allister Whitehead – a DJ who helped shape the scene from its earliest days.

A regular in the DJ Mag Top 20 and named Mixmag DJ of the Year, Allister has travelled the globe playing house music across every continent. He has sold over one million DJ mix albums, with his Fantazia collections becoming some of the most iconic releases of their time, including a record-breaking mix album that outsold the UK’s number one pop record in the same week.

He remains a mainstay of both UK and Ibiza club culture, playing regularly for institutions including Pikes, Clockwork Orange, Godskitchen, The Hacienda, Cream, and Ministry of Sound. For The Feel Social, Allister will deliver a full disco set.

Supporting the bill is a carefully curated selection of respected DJs and artists:

  • Jill Thompson (Girls On Top / Froot / Fine / Cream)
  • Ian Martin Wright (Eight / G-Love)
  • Mr Bernie Connor Himself
  • Max Tutu (Luma Creations / Damn Fine)

Vocals from Jo Steel and live percussion throughout the event bring an added layer of energy and soul to the session.

The Feel Social is designed to evolve throughout the day and evening – beginning with laid-back grooves and building steadily into a full dancefloor atmosphere as the session unfolds.

Whether it’s the start of your night or the main event itself, The Feel Social offers a fresh alternative to the usual weekend rhythm.
