Step Inside MONUISM: Light, Laser, and Sound Experience in 2026
Liverpool is set to welcome MONUISM, an awe-inspiring light, laser, and sound installation that transforms space into a luminous, ever-evolving landscape of monumental geometric structures. This brand-new work for 2026 promises to immerse visitors in a dazzling interplay of light, form, and sound.
MONUISM features monumental, ephemeral light sculptures that continuously shift in shape, scale, hue, and intensity, giving the impression that the very essence of architecture is being sculpted in real time. The installation’s geometry creates a kaleidoscopic environment, where light both constructs and deconstructs the idea of monumentality, blurring the line between permanence and transience.
Accompanying the visual spectacle is a specially composed electronic soundtrack, designed to enhance the immersive experience. The music, reflecting the dynamic motion of the light structures, will also be available to stream and download.
MONUISM – Trailer
The name MONUISM captures the duality at the heart of the installation: monumental in scale yet delicate and transient in its execution. The work celebrates the beauty of light as both solid and transparent, emphasizing its temporality and fragility while evoking the grandeur of architecture and sculpture.
A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Old Christ Church, helping to maintain the venue as a vibrant community space cherished by locals.
The show runs for three nights: Friday 30 January, Saturday 31 January, and Sunday 1 February 2026, with multiple performances per night. Each performance runs on a 30-minute loop, allowing visitors to step in and out at their leisure.
MONUISM is a must-see for lovers of contemporary art, technology, and immersive experiences—an opportunity to witness light, sound, and space converge in a breathtaking celebration of form and perception.
