Parliament Square Coffee Announces Flagship Opening on Cook Street in 2026
Liverpool’s much-loved independent café brand Parliament Square Coffee has announced ambitious expansion plans with the unveiling of a new 3,500 sq ft flagship store set to open on Cook Street in early 2026.
The rapidly growing business, founded by husband-and-wife team Christopher and Hayley Commerford, launched its first café on Parliament Street in 2023 and has since become a favourite among coffee lovers across the North West. Known for its specialty brews, elevated brunch dishes and relaxed community feel, the brand has expanded quickly — opening a second venue on Clarence Street last year, which also houses the Parliament Square Academy for aspiring baristas.
The new Cook Street location, situated in the heart of Liverpool’s bustling business district, will showcase the brand’s signature offerings, including specialty coffee supplied by national partners Ozone Coffee and a British-inspired brunch menu made with premium ingredients and quality local produce.

Designed as a multifunctional space, the flagship will also feature a serviced meeting room for up to 12 people, aimed at supporting the growing demand from local businesses for flexible, high-quality meeting environments. Corporate catering will also be expanded as part of the brand’s ongoing growth.
This year marks an important chapter for Parliament Square Coffee as it continues to champion modern British heritage and culture in its food, music and design. The historic Cook Street building will reflect these values through its character, architecture and welcoming atmosphere.
Co-founder Hayley Commerford said: “Parliament Square Coffee has grown into an incredible brand, and we’re thrilled to be opening our third site in Liverpool — our new flagship on Cook Street. This store brings together everything our brand represents, from exceptional coffee and British-inspired food to a dedicated meeting space and expanded corporate catering.”
Director Christopher Commerford added that the business is now backed by global investors with experience across the US, Asia, the Middle East and the UK. “They recognise our potential to scale across these markets, and we’re delighted to embark on this next stage — starting with our new flagship site in Liverpool.”
Parliament Square Coffee’s new Cook Street store is expected to open in early 2026.
