Dan Napper’s Debut Single ‘Chasing’ Delivers Heart and Harmony

The captivating track Chasing is singer-songwriter Dan Napper’s debut single and is available to stream now. The heartfelt lyrics along with a mix of timeless melodies makes this song undeniably not one to miss. The track offers both folk and indie vibes, carrying a sense of longing and reflection.

Napper’s raw and warm vocals bring a genuine authenticity to each lyric, filling the song with a feeling of vulnerability and yearning. The production, crafted by Sam Durkin, sets the perfect scene for Napper’s emotive delivery. Therefore, Chasing perfectly showcases the 20-year-old’s imminent success as both a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist.

With guitars of varying textures, the song moves effortlessly through dynamic shifts from mellow chords to more vibrant, rock-inspired leads. The guitar riff at the beginning is effortlessly catchy, setting the atmosphere for what feels like a moving personal journey.

The rhythm section adds another layer of depth to the track, with Thomas Pierre Proudlock’s bass lines providing a steady pulse while George Robertson’s drumming subtly builds intensity throughout. Milo Kent’s atmospheric keys add a touch of melancholy leading to the elements of the track being invaluable as they all blend excellently.

Whilst Chasing is a stand-out on its own, it also serves as a glimpse into the larger body of work Napper is preparing. With plans for an EP later this year and more singles to come, it’s clear that Dan is on the brink of something truly special.

Chasing is available across all major streaming platforms including Apple, Spotify and Amazon Music.
