Hope & Glory Festival Announce Hacienda Classical, Reverend & The Makers For New Summer festival
A brand new music & arts festival will launch this summer at St George’s Hall with Hacienda Classical and Reverend & The Makers announced to play.
The two day festival will take place on 4th & 5th August at St George’s Plateau with over 50 performers to be announced. The festival will include music, art, exhibitions, magic shows, spoken word poetry and more as the festival aims for a Victorian Carnival Theme.
Hacienda Classical will headline the festival, bringing their impressive 70 piece orchestral show to Liverpool with reworkings of acid house classics once played in Manchester’s legendary Hacienda club.
Other big names include the legendary Reverend & The Makers, Scottish indie rockers The Fratelli’s and former Keane frontman Tom Chaplin. The Shimmer Band, VYNCE and The Blinders have also been announced to play across the two festival stages.
The festival will include a pop up performance areas where there will be performances including magic shows, comedy, spoken word poetry and acoustic music sets.
Organisers say “Try to imagine your favourite bands, huge tunes, combined with a decadent Victorian carnival, wicked fun, with a heavy dose of outrageous sideshows, and you’ll begin to get a picture of what HOPE & GLORY festival is. A festival of proper music and real anthems.”
