Albert’s Schloss

The Sunday Service at Albert’s Schloss is a must try, with a delicious set menu of two or three courses available every week. Choose from dry aged rump of beef, roast Cumbrian chicken, Schweinshaxe (roasted pork knuckle) or Butternut Squash Spinach En Croute, served with all the trimmings; roast potatoes, root vegetable mash, seasonal greens and lashings of proper gravy. Sides such as sformato; melting mash with alpine cheese and truffle, schweins in blankets, cauliflower cheese and charred tenderstem broccoli are also available to tempt you. 

After trying the Schweinshaxe (roasted pork knuckle) we can safely say this is one of the best Sunday roasts in Liverpool. And if you can finish all the meat on that pork knuckle, you are a hero.

The dry-aged sirlion was incredible, served alongside cauliflower puree, this roast brings a touch of sophistication to the sunday roast experience.
