Weekly Noise: Week #42

Weekly Noise is a short and straightforward way of sharing Liverpool’s trending news and topics in the form of a weekly poem. Laura Chonzi will take the top trending hashtags or stories on social media and turn them into a ten-line poetic masterpiece for each week of the month, hence the name.

More hostages are being released as the truce ensues,
Hopefully no one has to fish out for clues.
Word on the street is UEFA corruption,
We pray it doesn’t end in a fan eruption.
The snow is making its guest appearance,
Whilst the temperatures tamper with our endurance.
Deal Or No Deal is taking X by storm,
Looks like disappointments are becoming the norm.
Meanwhile the Princess Of Wales wows the crowd,
Regardless of the haters, she continues to shine and not frown.
