Foo Fighters at Anfield

Foo Fighters Announce Two Huge Anfield Stadium Shows for 2026 Take Cover Tour

The absolutely legendary band, Foo Fighters is coming to Anfield on the 25 and 27 June. The visit is part of their Take Cover Tour and while it is a tour across Europe and some parts of America, this is the only stadium in the UK that the band will be playing in, meaning if you are a Foo Fighters fanatic then you need to get your tickets booked as soon as possible.

Tickets can be hard to come by at this time, with the official Foo Fighters website actually showing that all of their tickets have been sold out. However there are some resale tickets available via Ticketmaster. A lot of tickets have already been sold, which does mean that if you want to see Foo Fighters in their only visit to the UK during their Take Cover Tour, you will have to be comfortable with spending at least £200 per ticket, with standing pitch tickets costing up to £325.

Showstopping Theatre

Prima Facie at the Playhouse Theatre

Prima Facie

How could we create a list of some of the hottest and most anticipated events in Liverpool without talking about Prima Facie

Written by the amazingly talented Suzie Miller and starring Liverpool’s own Jodie Comer with direction from Justin Martin, Prima Facie promises their audience 90 minutes of raw, emotional performance on stage following a young barrister and her battle with morals, patriarchal power and the burden of proof with every second adding to the tension. This is one of the most anticipated theatre productions of the year showing from the 17-21 March and as such, is entirely sold out.

The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher at the Everyman Theatre

The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher

Created expressly for Liverpool, The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher creates a darkly funny ‘what if?’ scenario following two people and one gun. This gripping thriller, written by Alexandra Wood and directed by John Young is an exciting world premiere in the Everyman Theatre running from the 2-23 May which offers plenty of dates for you to grab tickets.

Tickets are still available for this performance, costing between £11 and £21. There’s also a great deal to take advantage of with the Everyman Theatre offering the chance to see three different shows for £60 in 2026. These shows include The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher, Attachment and Death of a Salesmen. Taking part in this deal will also nab you a postergramme for each show. Simply add all three shows into your basket which will automatically grant you the deal.

Mean Girls at Liverpool Empire

Mean Girls at Liverpool Empire

I have a hunch that I don’t have to explain what the premise of Mean Girls is to anybody, but for those unaware of the 2004 movie, Mean Girls is the classic story of a new student in a new school and all of the social anxieties that come along with being the odd one out in a school that you certainly don’t belong in.

The Mean Girls Musical is coming to the Liverpool Empire Theatre from the 19-31 October, meaning that you have nearly half of the month to catch the Plastics on the stage.

Tickets are priced between £15 – £92.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at Liverpool Empire

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time

One of my personal favourites, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is on tour again in the UK and is visiting the Liverpool Empire Theatre from the 3-7 November.

The play revolves around the character of Christopher Boone as he investigates a mystery that took place in his neighbour’s garden, he embarks on his investigation to figure out what truly happened, and along the way helps to discover a lot more about his own personal strengths. This is a beautifully inspiring performance that has audiences sucked into the world of Christopher from the moment the curtains are opened to the moment they are closed.

Tickets are priced between £15 – £70.
