The Wheelbarrow Brings Festive Cheer to Liverpool with Music, Afternoon Teas & Creative Workshops

The Wheelbarrow, nestled beside Greenbank Sports Academy, is transforming into a festive haven this Christmas with an exciting line-up of seasonal events. From live brass music and festive afternoon teas to hands-on creative workshops and private parties, the venue promises plenty of ways to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

Throughout December, guests can enjoy a range of Christmas menu specials, alongside bespoke festive pastries crafted by The Wheelbarrow’s talented in-house baker.

Festive Afternoon Tea with Allerton Brass Band

Experience the sounds of the season with the Allerton Brass Band on Saturday 13 December, performing during two sittings: 1–3pm and 3:30–5:30pm. Each ticket (£37 per person) includes prosecco and a festive afternoon tea with both vegetarian and meat options. Booking is essential via Eventbrite, at the café, or by calling 0151 245 6494.

Natural Wreath Making with Crafty Monkey

Get creative on Friday 28 November (7:30–9:30pm) at a wreath-making workshop hosted by Crafty Monkey. Tickets are £60 and include all materials, with festive treats and pastries available to purchase from The Wheelbarrow’s bakery. Book via Eventbrite.
