BOXPARK Liverpool Goes Bigger for Grand National Weekend

BOXPARK Liverpool has revealed the full line-up of street food traders, bars and live entertainment set to take over an even bigger enclosure inside the Festival Zone at the Randox Grand National Festival 2026, as the brand returns to Aintree Racecourse with a space more than double the size of last year.

Following the announcement of a multi-year partnership with Aintree Racecourse and The Jockey Club, BOXPARK Liverpool will transform a huge enclosure inside the Festival Zone next to Aintree Pavilion into a high-energy, all-day destination, welcoming thousands of racegoers across the three-day event.

This year, BOXPARK Liverpool’s enclosure will be bigger, bolder and packed with even more to explore, featuring six bars, an expanded line-up of ten street food traders and a full schedule of DJs and live entertainment from day through to evening for Opening Day, Ladies Day and The Grand National.

Guests can expect a diverse range of food options from some of the region’s most popular vendors, including BOXPARK Liverpool’s Shake?, Simply Salt N Pepper and The Lids, as well as The Sausage, Nanny Bills, Chows, Thunderbird Chicken, Alpine Pizza, Little Bao Boy and Chicken George, offering everything from loaded street food favourites to global flavours.

Across the three days, BOXPARK Liverpool will also host an extensive DJ programme, delivering a soundtrack of disco, house and party anthems throughout the festival weekend.

Thursday will feature sets from the city’s very own Dom Townsend, Joel Lee, Danny Black and Rob Cain, who will be setting the tone for the weekend with high-energy music and feel-good vibes from the outset.

On Ladies Day, the atmosphere will be elevated further with performances from AMBA, Dom Townsend, Louie Dunn, Andreas Georgiou, Jake Laird, Jess Carter & Daisy Dadswell, Rob McPartland and Sean Myers, bringing a mix of house, party and crowd-favourite anthems.

For The Grand National, festival goers will see the enclosure reach its peak with a stacked line-up including Sean Myers, Dom Townsend, Danny Black, Rob McPartland, Ian Longo, Lee Butler and Rob Cain, ensuring a full day of back-to-back music and celebration.

With six bars positioned across the space, guests will have easy access to a variety of drinks throughout the day, allowing them to move seamlessly between food, music and social areas.

Designed to be a central hub within the racecourse, BOXPARK Liverpool’s enclosure inside the Festival Zone will once again offer a vibrant alternative to traditional race day experiences, combining the energy of a festival with the atmosphere of the Randox Grand National.

Matthew McMillan, Chief Property Officer at BOXPARK, said: “After the success of last year, we knew we had to return to Aintree bigger, and this year’s enclosure really delivers on that. We’ve expanded the space, brought in an incredible line-up of food traders and DJs, and created something that feels like a festival within the festival.

“It’s all about giving racegoers more choice and more energy throughout the day. Whether you’re here for the racing, the music or the food, BOXPARK Liverpool is set to be a standout destination across all three days.”

BOXPARK Liverpool will also host a full programme of city centre events across the festival period.
