Tenderfoot Theatre Presents OutHaus: A Wild Ride at Liverpool Arts Bar!

Get ready for a seriously good time as Tenderfoot Theatre Company brings their fantastic OutHaus to Liverpool Arts Bar this Friday 18 July.

This theatrical experience bursts onto the stage with an amazing, high-energy vibe that pulls you right in from the very first moment and keeps you hooked. It’s clear that this company loves what they do, and that passion shines through every scene.

OutHaus drops you into a near-future North West England where green spaces have been strangely outlawed. This wild setting becomes the backdrop for a story that’s all about holding onto both nature and the vibrant, unique queer community that inhabits it. The heart of the show is a secret speakeasy, hidden away in an old public toilet.

OutHaus Theatre Show - Liverpool Arts Bar

This underground spot, Club OutHaus, is home to an unforgettable crew of cabaret stars: a dazzling drag queen, a charismatic drag king MC, a singer with big dreams, a surprisingly chatty circus duck, and their watchful bartender. They’re a brilliant bunch, all united in their mission to keep their beloved club safe from the “Green Police.”

But while the play touches on important themes inspired by real-world reports about disappearing green spaces, it does so with a fantastic sense of humor and a playful spirit. Tenderfoot Theatre manages to explore these ideas without ever getting too heavy, instead filling the show with joy and resilience.

The production itself is a blast of creativity. The cast is simply brilliant, each performer bringing their unique energy to the stage. Nicola Hardman and Joseph Roberts as Magnolia and Christoff are comedy gold, guaranteed to have you laughing out loud.

Georgie Cunningham and Alex Susuki bring a quiet authenticity to their characters’ relationship, and Kate-Elizabeth Carey as DB is a standout, growing into a central role with a riotously funny puppet show that will leave you in stitches.

So, get ready for a wild and wonderful theatrical romp.OutHaus promises a fantastic night out filled with laughter, heart, and unforgettable characters. Get down to Liverpool Arts Bar and join the fun at Club OutHaus!
