RATS Gear Up For Debut Album With Addictive Single ‘Hard to Find’

Liverpool’s rising indie-rock stars RATS have dropped their energetic new track Hard to Find today — just in time to build excitement for their upcoming tour next month. The band continues to carve their name into the music scene with their signature blend of gripping melodies and raw, heartfelt lyricism.

In addition to releasing their highly anticipated new single, RATS have officially announced the nearing arrival of their debut album Rule The World which is set to feature 13 tracks. The album will be released on Friday 2 May. This marks a major milestone for the band launching their first album which is bound to captivate their growing fanbase.

On Hard to Find, the quintet masterfully weave both uplifting and darker themes into their lyrics, making the track deeply relatable. From the very first note, Maddocks’ infectious, commanding vocals and Lowell Carragher’s punchy guitar riffs set the tone for a single that demands attention.

The catchy, rhythmic chorus blends repetition with raw, honest lyricism, perfectly complementing the track’s sharp and powerful vocals. Drummer Alan Phillips describes the song as “a mix of our individual characters coming together,” a dynamic that resonates in every element of the track.

With its high energy, relatable lyrics, and undeniable replay value, Hard to Find is poised to become a fan favourite—an essential listen ahead of the band’s April tour.
